The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ has a requirement to replenish NAVAIR Inventory of Electronics and Innovation, Ltd P/N 525LA Low Frequency Power Amplifiers in support of the NAVAIR METCAL program. The intention is to award this contract based on limted competition between Electronics and Innovation, LTD and their authorized distributors. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. These amplifiers are the only commercial item that is a form fit and functional replacement to the legacy model that was manufactured by Electronic Navigation Industries, Inc. which is no longer in business. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offers: (1) Technical - Brand Name Only. Alternative equipment is not acceptable; and (2) Price. Delivery will be f.o.b destination to NAWCAD Lakehurst, NJ.

This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT and is issued for INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. This is not a SOLICITATION. This is NOT a request for proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to evaluate or purchase any goods or services. The Government will not reimburse for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information or materials furnished in response to this sources sought notice. Information received as a result of this notice will become part of our market research and used to determine interest and capability of potential sources. Proprietary information will be protected to the full extent provided by law.
DESCRIPTION:
The Low Frequency Power Amplifier is a broad band rugged source of RF power useful for RFI/EMI, power meter calibration, laser modulation and general laboratory applications. The low frequency power amplifier will produce over 25 watts of Class A linear power output over the entire frequnecy range from 1 MHz to 500 MHz, with a power gain of 50dB.
