The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging in Washington, DC area. Lodging is required for 96 participants for the State Data Centers/Census Information Centers Steering Committee and Annual Training Conference on the following dates: *(PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR LODGING ONLY. MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE U.S. CENSUS BUREAU*
• Sunday, April 3, 2016 - 16 sleeping rooms on Government Purchase Order
• Monday, April 4, 2016 - 66 sleeping rooms on Government Purchase Order; 40 sleeping rooms blocked for call-in NOT on Government Purchase Order.
• Tuesday, April 5, 2016 - 96 sleeping rooms on Government Purchase Order; 50 sleeping rooms blocked for call-in NOT on Government Purchase Order
• Wednesday, April 6, 2016 - 96 sleeping rooms on Government Purchase Order; 50 sleeping rooms blocked for call-in NOT on Government Purchase Order
• Thursday, April 7, 2016 -96 sleeping rooms on Government Purchase Order; 50 sleeping rooms blocked for call-in NOT on Government Purchase Order.
• Friday, April 8, 2016 - 20 sleeping rooms on Government Purchase Order
Estimated Cost for Lodging: 420 rooms @$226.00 on Government Purchase Order, $94,920.00; 160 rooms@ 226.00 blocked for call-in and will be paid by the individual, NOT on Government Purchase Order.
Rooming list will be provided for rooms paid by Government Purchase Order.
The accommodations must have the following:
• Metro Accessibility
• Full Service Restaurant on-site.
The U.S. Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Award will be made on a best value basis in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Lodging rate must be equal to or less than Government per diem rate.
Interested parties must be registerd in the System for Award Management (SAM). All responsible sources that can meet the requirements and provide items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical proposal, hotel contract, and descriptive literature to Lisa Safewright via email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov. Please provide DUNS# in proposal submission, and reference the RFQ# in all email responses. All questions must be emailed to the same email address. No phone calls will be honored. Award will be made by Government Purchase Order. Closing date for receipt of proposals is February 16, 2016 at 3pm Eastern Time.
