About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 12 published a Special Notice announcing its intent to negotiate a sole source bridge contract with AGFA Healthcare Corporation. The Special Notice seeks to provide radiology PACS hardware, software maintenance, and support services to six VA medical centers in VISN 12.

The Special Notice provides details that the sole source procurement is being conducted under the Limited Source Justification provision in FAR 13. It establishes a deadline of July 14, 2023 for any alternative contractors to provide evidence that they are an authorized distributor or reseller who can purchase OEM parts and provide certified technical personnel to meet the requirements. If no acceptable responses are received, VA will proceed with awarding a sole source contract to the incumbent, AGFA Healthcare Corporation, to support the facilities until a new contract is awarded.
