Three (3) Year IDIQ Contract (three 12-month ordering periods, March 2021 through March 2021),
Estimated Ceiling: Minimum of 8 units, maximum of 60 units
The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Warren, Detroit Arsenal, MI 48397-5000 intends to procure via sole source, an estimated minimum of 8 units to a maximum of 60 units, on a three year, Firm Fixed Price, IDIQ contract under Solicitation Number W56ZHV-20-R-0261. This sole source procurement will be awarded to a single contractor pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". Specifically, “Supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract for the continued development or production of a major system or highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof, when it is likely that award to any other source would result in- (A) Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition; or (B) Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency’s requirements.”
The contractor will be responsible for test, repair, and upgrade of IRUs. The tentative schedule for this effort is calculated at 20 IRUs per year; i.e. 20 per year x 3 years = 60 units.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
