About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is soliciting proposals to supply approximately 3.4 million doses of injectable influenza vaccine for the 2022-2023 flu season. The vaccines must be FDA-approved for use in individuals ages 3 and older, as well as pediatric doses for ages 6 months to 35 months. Successful offerors must have FDA approval for their vaccine and the vaccine must be recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. Proposals are due by August 16, 2021.
There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The contract will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity agreement with a minimum of 75% and maximum of 150% of the estimated 3.4 million dose requirement. Delivery is required to the Defense Distribution Depot in New Cumberland, PA, with 40% due by August 12, 2022, 25% by August 26, 2022, 25% by September 9, 2022 and the remaining 10% by September 23, 2022. National stock numbers will be assigned at time of award.

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is soliciting for the supply of Injectable Influenza Vaccine for the 2022-2023 flu season. Approximately 3.4 million doses are included in this requirement. (Quantities may increase or decrease pending receipt of final Service requirements.) The vaccines shall be in the following presentations: multi-dose vials and prefilled syringes. The vaccine shall be FDA-approved for the following age categories: for immunizing individuals 65 years and older, for immunizing individuals 18 years and older; and for immunizing individuals 3 years and older. Also, 10-pack prefilled syringes for immunizing 6 months to 35 months (pediatric group).
The formula for the 2022-2023 season shall be determined by the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee. Other specification data is included in the solicitation. Successful contractor must have FDA Approval and the vaccine must be ACIP recommended. National Stock Numbers shall be established at time of award.
An indefinite quantity contract is proposed. The quantity indicated is an annual estimate only. The guaranteed minimum will be 75% of the annual estimate, and a contract maximum will be established at 150% of the annual estimate.
All quantities shall be delivered to the Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. The contractor shall be capable of delivering 40% of the requirement by August 12, 2022, 25% by August 26, 2022, 25% by September 09, 2022 and the residual 10% by September 23, 2022. This delivery schedule is the preferred delivery schedule. Other delivery schedules will be considered.
