About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is seeking proposals for the supply of approximately 3.4 million doses of injectable influenza vaccine for the 2021-2022 flu season. The vaccine must be FDA-approved for use in individuals ages 3 and older, including pediatric and senior formulations. The vaccine formula for the upcoming season will be determined by the FDA's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee. Successful offerors must have FDA approval for their vaccine and an ACIP recommendation. Proposals are due by October 6, 2020.

There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity agreement with a minimum of 75% and maximum of 150% of the estimated 3.4 million doses. Doses must be delivered to the Defense Depot in New Cumberland, PA, with 40% due by August 13, 2021, 25% by August 27, 2021, 25% by September 10, 2021 and the remaining 10% by September 24, 2021. National stock numbers will be assigned at time of award.

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is soliciting for the supply of Injectable Influenza Vaccine for the 2021-2022 flu season.  Approximately 3.4 million doses are included in this requirement.  (Quantities may increase or decrease pending receipt of final Service requirements.)  The vaccines shall be in the following presentations: multi-dose vials and prefilled syringes.  The vaccine shall be FDA-approved for the following age categories: for immunizing individuals 65 years and older, for immunizing individuals 18 years and older; for immunizing individuals 9 years and older; and for immunizing individuals 3 years and older.  Also, 10-pack prefilled syringes for immunizing 6 months to 35 months (pediatric group).

The formula for the 2021-2022 season shall be determined by the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee.  Other specification data is included in the solicitation.  Successful contractor must have FDA Approval and the vaccine must be ACIP recommended.  National Stock Numbers shall be established at time of award.

An indefinite quantity contract is proposed.  The quantity indicated is an annual estimate only.  The guaranteed minimum will be 75% of the annual estimate, and a contract maximum will be established at 150% of the annual estimate.

All quantities shall be delivered to the Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA.  The contractor shall be capable of delivering 40% of the requirement by August 13, 2021, 25% by August 27, 2021, 25% by September 10, 2021 and the residual 10% by September 24, 2021.  This delivery schedule is the preferred delivery schedule.  Other delivery schedules will be considered.
