Added: May 25, 2016 4:35 pm Notice of Intent for sole source award for IBM's software product ISPF to support z/VM RACF, which is used to monitor, configure and protect taxpayer information on the z/VM LPAR of the Masterfile Mainframe System (GSS-21). IBM is the only known vendor to supply this special offering as the Operating System, and RACF were both designed by IBM and they are the only vendor that can supply the interface of ISPF to their product. The IRS Procurement Office intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order under FAR Part 6.302-1 to IBM. This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated services can provide supporting documents demonstrating their capabilities and authorizations/certifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to Brian Carper, Brian. M.Carper@irs.gov. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
