This requirement is to procure the following two (2) NSNs on a firm fixed price basis.  Any resultant contract may be used to fulfill USAF and/or FMS requirements.


ITEM 0001:  NSN 1730-01-301-3127RN, Part Number (P/N) 16A23034-811, Noun- Ground Handler Adapter assembly, used on the F-16A/B/C/D to provide a separate stabilizer assembly with the forward cradle in order to prevent movement between the aircraft and the trailer rails.


The Ground Handling Adapter assembly part 16A23034-811 consists of the following assemblies:


a. Forward Adapter


b. Left Stabilizer and Attach Fitting


c. Right Stabilizer and Attach Fitting


d. Forward Adapter Bracket and Attach Fittings ( two)


e. Aft. Adapter Bracket


f. Aft. Adapter Cradle


g. Left Aft. Adapter Strut


h. Right Aft. Adapter Strut


Total weight is 375 pounds (approximate).


 


Basic Year Requirement is 1 EA First Article with requirement for Contractor and Government testing.  Data requirements include, but are not limited to First Article Test Plan and First Article Test Report.   Also included are two production units in the basic year.  There will be four (4) Options, with a quantity range of 1-5 each for the 1st Option and a quantity range of 1-2 each for Options II, III and IV. Options shall be valid for 365, 730, 1,095 and 1,460 days after award, respectively.  First article will be shipped FOB Destination.  Production Assets and Option Assets will be FOB Origin. 


Delivery of First Article will be to FE4819 30 days after Government approval of First Article.   


Production/option assets due 330 days after first article approval/exercise of option, as applicable.


 


 


ITEM 0002: NSN 1730-01-298-4078, Part Number (P/N) 16A23034-809. This Ground Handling Adapter assembly is mounted on the engine transport trailer and attaches to attach points located on each side of the engine to facilitate engine installation and removal for F100-PW-100/200/220 engines.  The Ground Handling Adapter assembly part 16A23034-809 consists of the following assemblies:


a. Forward Adapter


b. Left Stabilizer and Attach Fitting


c. Right Stabilizer and Attach Fitting


d. Forward Adapter Bracket and Attach Fittings ( two)


e. Aft. Adapter Bracket


f. Aft. Adapter Cradle


g. Left Aft. Adapter Strut


h. Right Aft. Adapter Strut


Total weight is 375 pounds (approximate).

Solicitation and technical data package will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov website only on or about 17 Jun 2015 with a response date on or about 17 Jul 2015.
