Added: Jan 18, 2017 3:49 pm The purpose of this new task order is to determine the feasibility an integrated, heavy-fuel, hybrid-electric Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) power system as a transformational source of airborne power by defining candidate power architectures, testing critical power system components, and developing system models, while quantifying performance, cost, and risk. This task order will generate preliminary design data, test data, and integration plans for a selected power system architecture, and support the vetting and safety analysis of the system to a Preliminary Design Review level
