SOURCES SOUGHT/MARKET RESEARCH NOTICE


This is a sources sought/market research notice conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market Research. Joint Base Andrews is seeking information from all Small Business Administration (SBA) certified Small Business (SB) companies capable of providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items or services necessary to perform all operations associated in scheduled and emergency repair maintenance to include replacing dilapidated or out-of-service parts on various types of emergency response equipment used by Joint Base Andrews, Fire Emergency Services Flight. Specifically but not limited to the following:


- Service, repair, quarterly inspection and maintenance on mobile and stationary air compressors.
- Certified maintenance and repair required on detection equipment and monitors.
- Maintenance will include, but is not limited to, calibration, cleaning, diagnostics, factory test, battery output, software upgrade, pump service, internal filter replacement, board and sensor pins checked for corrosion.
- Repair service will include, but is not limited to, sensor, battery, board and casing replacement by trained and certified RAE systems technician.
- Repair as necessary, HURST rescue equipment to include hydraulic spreaders, O cutters, combi-tools, rams, power units, and supply lines


The contractor shall have the appropriate testing and certified repair equipment to complete the work. Technicians shall be certified to work on and repair Bauer Air Compressors as well as RAE System detection monitors.


Companies must be able to submit pricing and proof of required equipment certification within 10 business days of the anticipated solicitation. If the above criteria is within the capabilities of your company, please respond in writing by Wednesday 7 Aug 2013. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this market research, the Contracting Officer may determine that changes to the business set aside and/or response time may be issued.
