Using negotiated procedures authorized in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15, the Department of Justice has a need for various non-personal administrative support services for offices located nationwide on an unrestricted basis. Services shall include: copying, scanning, records management, supply room operations, faxing services, inter-building mail messenger and special courier services, and copier installation and maintenance. Any resulting contract will be available for use by all DOJ components but its focus will be on the Environmental and Natural Resources (ENRD) Division. The contractor shall be responsible for providing and supervising sufficient qualified staff, estimated between 35-50 positions to ensure uninterrupted service. The contractor shall also provide and maintain all copiers (32 convenience copiers and 12 copy center copiers) courier vehicles and cell phones used in order to successfully perform these tasks. The predominant place of performance is the Washington, DC Metropolitan areas with some staffing to be provided in Denver, CO and copy machine maintenance to be provided in other cities such as Sacramento and San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA and Anchorage, AK. This particular RFP number DJJK-09-RFP-0585 cross references to Request for Information number DJJK-08-RFI-0521 issued back on 11 January 2008. The North American Industry Classification System code is 561210, Facility Support Services with a size standard of $32.5M. The anticipated period of performance for this single award contract will be one (1) base year and up to five (5) option years. The anticipated release date for the solicitation, which will be available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov, is 01 December, 2008. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be available. Amendments to the solicitation issued prior to the receipt of proposals will also be posted on www.fbo.gov. Interested parties are responsible to monitor this site for access to the solicitation. All responsible sources meeting the eligibility requirements may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government. It is highly recommended that, prior to submitting a proposal, all interested parties obtain a Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number, register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and complete online representations and certifications in ORCA, the Online Representations and Certifications Application, as these requirements are mandatory for any firm selected for a contract award. Easy access to all three systems is found on the CCR homepage, www.ccr.gov.
