Added: Feb 07, 2014 9:53 am This constitutes notice that WRALC has a requirement for manufacturing, integrating and installing the Electronic Propeller Control System (EPCS) on selected C-130H aircraft.  The government intends to award a contract with a one year basic period and four (4) one year options.  The basic will include CLINs for Non-Recurring Engineering, Trial Kits, Trial Kit Installations, Trial Kit Verifications, Data, Travel, Training, Support Equipment (Tools) and Spares.  Options I - IV will include CLINs for Production Kits, Production Installation and Spares.  The contract will be Firm Fixed Price with Cost Reimbursement line items for travel. 

The successful offeror will be chosen using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures.   

Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. 

The estimated solicitation release date is 14 Mar 2014 with a required response date of 30 days after issuance.
