QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS AS OF 27 MAR 2014
QUESTION: 1: I noticed that the DFAR 252.228-7001 Ground Flight Risk clause is not included. I recommend that it be included in this solicitation. If agreed to........ then the Installation Facilities requirements should include: "GFR approved, or a plan for receiving GFR approval, for installation facilities".
ANSWER 1: If the Ground and Flight Risk clause is determined to be applicable, it will be included in the final RFP.
QUESTION: 2: Will the government provide Drawing SK1002502 from TO 3HA2-7-501 to support the PHA Modification quoting?
ANSWER 2: Yes, the TCTO and a drawing will be provided.
QUESTION 3: Will the government provide current weight and balance data for each aircraft to allow for the weight and balance analysis to be accomplished and the respective aircraft records updated?
ANSWER 3: Yes, each aircraft will be inducted with all of the necessary aircraft forms and records.
QUESTION 4: The Evaluation Factors attachment talks about a Cost/Price proposal. The government has not identified a separate Cost/Price Volume. Will there be one added to the final solicitation?
ANSWER 4: A separate Cost/Price Volume is not being requested. Prices will be entered into the RFP Section B.
QUESTION 5: On Page 19 of the draft solicitation, will CLIN 0012 Amount be a rollup price total consisting of CLINs 0012AA through 0012AJ that are not separately priced?
ANSWER 5: No; if you decide to separately price the data items, then each data subCLIN would stand alone.
