The United States Coast Guard seeks to award a firm fixed price contract for dockside repair services for USCGC DILIGENCE (WMEC-616). Repairs include cleaning and inspecting fuel, water, waste and ballast tanks; shafting; and preserving, renewing and testing ship components and systems. Contractors must provide all labor, materials and services in accordance with military, Coast Guard and commercial standards. Quotes are due January 4, 2021 with award anticipated January 18, 2021. The period of performance is March 31 to May 26, 2021 in Pensacola, Florida.
This solicitation is set aside for small businesses with a NAICS code of 811310 for ship repair and maintenance. Repairs include overhauling anchor windlasses and warping capstans; relocating a 400Hz power supply; replacing bilge pumps and oily water separators; and renewing fuel oil piping, deck plating, watertight bulkheads and hatches, and deck drain piping. The schedule provides optional line items for partial preservation of chain lockers and dirty oil/waste tanks. Work will take place at the vessel's pier from May 19 to July 14, 2021.

The proposed contract to be awarded by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) shall be for Dockside repairs to the USCGC DILIGENCE (WMEC-616) as specified in Attachment 2 – Statement of Work - Specification. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, necessary to meet the requirements of the specification.
