This solicitation seeks a firm-fixed price contract for a Detector, Gas with part number 17G4632226-1 applicable to the C-17 aircraft. ****This requirement has been reclassified from 100% Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) to 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside and incorporates two engineering orders. The date specified for receipt of offers is extended to June 11, 2021.

This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with three-1 year options for additional line item quantities for a Detector, Gas applicable to the C-17aircraft. This acquisition is for NSN: 6665-01-538-8384, P/N: 17G4632226-1. The Detector, Gas is used to provide a means of detecting fuel and gas vapor concentration levels in the cavity between the secondary barrier and the fuel tank. This requirement will be set-aside for women-owned small businesses (WOSB). The requirement includes a basic quantity of one each (includes first article and production), Test Plan (1 LO), Test Report (1 LO), Tech Manual (1 LO) and three options years each with a quantity of 1 to 3 each. All assets will be shipped FOB destination within the continental United States.

Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and will evaluate proposals and make award in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFQ. Please note that in order to receive access to the technical data package, you must first complete the attached NDA and return a signed copy back to the Contract Specialist and the PCO before access can be granted.  We will then send you a DODSAFE drop-off link to access the data.
