Added: Oct 28, 2015 11:24 am This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 511210 (Software Publishers).

The Department of Veteran's Affairs is seeking information on the capability of firms to provide a drug dispensing software as well as the transfer of data on the current software to the new software being provided. The currently owned software is myAvatar published by Netsmart. Prospective firms must be able to:

" Complete data transfer from existing AMS system to the new system.

" Provide automated methadone ordering and dispensing system that will replace the Netsmart AMS software which is currently in use at the Opioid Substitution Clinics (OSC).

" Provide the smooth flow of data from system to VISTA/CPRS and vice versa.

" Provide technical support that covers 24/7 service support, software maintenance, inventory management support and annual software licenses.

" The vendor will use One-VA VPN to log into our server. The vendor will then remote desktop connects to the server via the IP address. The vendor is able to use the server for troubleshooting, maintenance, and providing support to new client installs.



Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience. Please include your business size with your submittal.

This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender.

Responses are to be submitted by e-mail to Daniel.rasmussen@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on November 3rd, 2015.
