This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12653818Q0005 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-73. The associated NAICS code is 311119.
U.S. Meat Animal Research Center is re-posting this solicitation as the quantity requirement for corn stalk bales has increased to 2,000 tons.
The government reserves the right to make multiple awards off of this solicitation to meet its requirements.
This acquisition is for the following items as identified in the Contract Line Item Number (CLIN):
1. Corn Stalk Bales (Round or Square) delivered to the U.S. Meat Animal Research Center between 9-25-2018 and 11-1-2018.


The Government will evaluate quotes for award purposes, considering the evaluation factors listed in the attached provisions.
To be eligible for an award, all contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). A contractor can contact SAM by calling 1-866-606-8220 or e-mail at www.sam.gov. NO EXCEPTIONS. A DUNS (Dun and Bradstreet) number is required in order to register.
All quotes must be submitted to Daniel Kinney via email at dan.kinney@ars.usda.gov no later than 9/24/2018 at 10:00am CST. See the attached Request For Quote (RFQ) and applicable provisions & clauses..

The U.S. Meat Animal Research Center has had a change in requirements. This solicitation is being re-issued and is requesting quotes for 2000 tons of corn stalk bales.
The government reserves the right to make multiple awards off of this solicitation to meet its requirements.
