About this opportunity
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking a contractor to provide a CNC Mill - 3D printer for the NASA AFRC Simulation Engineering Branch. The printer will be used to prototype and fabricate high-quality, repeatable simulation parts for AFRC simulation cockpits. The contract will be awarded by 9/7/2023 and the period of performance is 90 days after contract award.

- CNC Mill - 3D printer with specific characteristics and specs
- Ability to cut tough metals like titanium, stainless steel, and hardened tool steel as well as softer materials like aluminum, plastics, and wood
- Assembly of machine
- Various additional features such as MicroARC4 – 100mm 4th axis, Rapid turn package, 5 in CNC Vise, 4 in CNC Vise, 5 in machinist vise, Clamp Kit, 5in parallel set, Work Stop, Jaws Kit, Standard 5 in steel step jaw set, Multi‐V 5in jaw set, 5 in Pin jaw set, Standard 5 in aluminum soft jaw set, 6 in Vise jaw systems compatible with 4 in and 5in vises, End mill kit for Aluminum #1, Passive probe kit, Electronic tool setter
- Delivery of the product to NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base.
