Amend solicitation SKE50017R0006 to delete the workers compensation insurance Defense Base Act (DBA) clause in section 1 pricing item 2.2, 2.3.8 base year prices, 2.4.8 first option year, 2.5.8 second option year prices, in the scope of work section ii general item p.8, clause 652.232-70 c, section 3.
Note: The DBA FAR clause 52.228-3 remains in section 2 clauses addendum to contract clauses of the solicitation, .

Added: Feb 08, 2017 12:04 am Please note that the solicitation is ready to be issued. The Embassy of the United States in Nairobi will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available. The requirement is for the provision of CDC Internet and installation services for Nairobi and Kisumu offices. The local Telecommunication's Internet Service Provider (ISP) contracting firm must provide internet services and dedicated leased line channels and circuitry for connecting American Embassy Nairobi, Kenya and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) locations. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and two one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via FedBizOpps. Please see the RFP for the actual date. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207, and prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
