Added: Aug 11, 2015 4:45 pm This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA248-15-Q-1211 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. This requirement is unrestricted. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.



Orlando Lake Nona VA Medical Center - Orlando, Florida requires the following:

This procurement is for new equipment only; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. FOB Destination shall be Orlando, FL 32827 7403. The product is expected to be delivered no later than October 30, 2015.

52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Oct 2014). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, Technical and Past Performance. Technical acceptability will be determined in accordance with the salient characteristics provided. Technical and past performance requirements, when combined, are approximately equal to price.



Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal applies to this acquisition. Vendors shall comply with FAR provision 52.211-6 if submitting other than the brand name products.
