Added: Jun 20, 2017 1:25 pm SYNOPSIS FOR CAROUSEL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICE

The 2nd Marine Logistics Group (II MLG) Supply Battalion, aboard Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina has a requirement for non-personal services to provide maintenance and repair support for 14 carousels, 7 lift platforms, 7 carousel interface controllers (CIC), and 2 Kardex Industriever Titan III. The contractor shall (1) respond to repairs within 6 business hours and repair non-functioning equipment within 48 business hours (2) perform preventative maintenance at a minimum of once every three months (3) provide unlimited technical support by phone (4) send qualified technicians to work on equipment. The period of performance will be for a base period of 12 months with two option periods of 12 months each.


It is the Government's intention to issue a firm fixed price purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 13. The proposed acquisition will be set-aside 100% for Small Business. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Size Standard is $7.5 million. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The Government intends to award to the responsible vendor whose quote represents the Best Value. A complete performance work statement will be included with the solicitation. Award will be issued on an all or none basis.
The solicitation No. M6700117Q1249 will be posted on or about 7 days after this posting and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site at www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website www.sam.gov.
