On August 18th an interested vendor replied to the solicitation with an inquiry about the circulation desk. Below is the conversation regarding the inquiry.
Question--- "but we hope to have one key clarification
question answered (better specification / description of circulation desk)?
(1) Your document, Item List & Floor Plan shows an image and states
"style is accurate, but design slightly different"
(2) The image is not the manufacture (Bookmark) from your information
list, it is the image of a different manufacture (Bookcraft).
(3) The image you supplied (if accurate) is not represented as shown on
the floorplan drawing.
(4) The dimensions and description should match the desired manufacture,
if a detailed description is not available supply the image of the
product. "
Answer--- "In regards to the circulation desk, it is referencing item C on the floor
plan which is above and to the right of item J and on the left of Item F.
The item pictured is a reference with the specific dimensions requested by
our customer listed in the item list with the green font. Our customer
wanted a circulation desk with more room in the workspace and more storage
space underneath the desk. That is why it says "style is accurate, but
design slightly different." I hope I answered your question appropriately,
however, if I did not, please let me know so we can figure it out."
To go along with that answer, we do not have a specific picture of the desk we are looking for, as they are not customarily manufactured as such.
