About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is seeking quotes for Bus Assembly components, specifically M1 and L1/M2 BUSS Assemblies through solicitation SPMYM225Q0936. The procurement involves obtaining one M1 BUSS Assembly (Part Number 139B8965P1) and two L1/M2 BUSS Assemblies (Part Number 139B8964G2) for delivery to TRIREFFAC in Silverdale, Washington. Contractors must submit signed quotes electronically via email to Armando.saya@dla.mil by February 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM, and include critical documentation such as CAGE codes, manufacturer information, country of manufacture, and lead times. Potential bidders must also comply with NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity requirements unless items are considered Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS). Evaluation criteria will likely include responsiveness to solicitation requirements, compliance with technical specifications, and ability to meet delivery timelines.

The solicitation is designated as a 100% small business set-aside, targeting electrical equipment manufacturers within NAICS category 33531. The sole source documentation indicates Ward Leonard Electric Company Inc. as the primary manufacturer, with ECI Defence Group serving as their representative. While specific award value is not explicitly stated, the procurement appears to be within the $10,000-$250,000 range. The required lead time for the assemblies is 218 days, suggesting a delivery around September 19, 2025. Contractors must provide electronic invoicing through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) and adhere to specific marking and packaging requirements for commercially packaged items. Inspection and acceptance will be conducted by the government at the destination in Silverdale, Washington, with the procurement supporting ongoing military equipment maintenance and replacement needs.
