Added: Jul 20, 2013 11:21 am The Shoshone National Forest is seeking interested contractors to reconditioning approximately 5.1 miles of roadbeds, furnishing, hauling, and placing aggregate, and utilizing temporary traffic control. Anticipate a base item with approximately 5,911 cubic yards of aggregate in place with three option items of approximately 1,364 cubic yards aggregate in place, 455 cubic yards aggregate in place, and 1090 cubic yards aggregate in place.

Use of biobased products is identified in the specifications.


Project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Funding is anticipated for the base item, award of option items is dependent upon funding.


Work will be in the Brooks Lake Area of the Wind River Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest. Fremont County, Wyoming. Anticipate work to be performed in September 2013.


This contract opportunity is a total small business set-aside.


Solicitation will be posted by July 29, 2013.
