DLA Aviation Richmond intends to issue a solicitation to procure the following supplies and services: QTY of one (1) Aluminum Anodizing Process Line that uses the Metalast JobPro IPCT. The vendor will be responsible for complete project design, fabrication and installation of the anodizing system. Performance will be at the FRCSE in Jacksonville, FL.
- The solicitation will be 100% set-aside for domestic small businesses.
- A complete technical data package will be available when the solicitation opens.
- A site visit will be scheduled in early January for interested vendors to review the installation area.
- The estimated release date for the solicitation is on or about 12/5/12. The anticipated closing date is 1/31/13.
- The anticipated performance period is 180 days ARO.
- A specialized Quality Assurance Provision will be included.
- Offers will be evaluated based on a combination of technical compliance, price and past performance.
- The solicitation will include provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the Procurex system and review the Reverse Auction help tutorials at: https://dla.ProcureXinc.com (link is case sensitive) to learn more about how to participate in an auction.
