This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation announcement for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Solicitation number AG-32SD-S-17-0036 (See Attached Solicitation) is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 corrections. North American Classification Coded (NAICS) 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, is applicable.
This announcement is not a set-aside for Small Business Concerns.
The CONTRACTOR shall provide:
-Must quote complete Trimble TMX System including monitor and hardware needed for installation.
-Must be compatible with the current two Trimble FMX Systems already in use.
-Must have upgrade capabilities if it needs to be interchanged with current systems.
-Must have Trimble Ez-Pilot system with Steering wheel
-Needs to have GPS mapping communications with current RTK base station.
-Needs to have Field IQ Spray control
-Needs to have Field IQ section control for up to 7 sections
- Installation, Set-up, and Training on the system
- Advanced Warranty
- 48 Hour Service and Repair Availability
-Training must be completed 48 hours after installation.
The source selection procedures to be used will be lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA)

The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract on March 31, 2017.
As authorized by FAR 5.102, solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and the USDA/ARS will provide no hard copies.
The successful company must mandatorily be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) at web site: www.sam.gov prior to award.
