This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.

This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-07

This solicitation is a total small business set aside.

12 26-Foot-High end Uprights (Cantilever Design)

36 22-Foot-High end Uprights (Cantilever Design)

4 Locations per Bay (Floor and 3 Shelves)

Shelves Dimensions 4 Feet Deep x 8.5 feet Width, Accommodate 2 Standard Sized Pallets (40 x 48 inches) with max material stack height of 72 inches

6 Cross Bar Supports per Shelf

Row Separation must allow maneuvering area for Crown Model RR 5725-45 Reach truck

Racking system will be secured to concrete warehouse floor slab

Manufacturer shall be a member of the Rack Manufacturers Institute (RMI) and have a R-Mark certification

Proposals will comply with approved American Nation Standard MH16.1, Specifications for the Design, Testing and Utilization of Industrial Steel Storage Racks

Welding; Qualify procedures and personnel according to ASW D1.1, Structural Welding Code-Steel

All rack components shall be roll formed, structural steel shapes

Upright frames shall be fully welded

End isle guards to protect bottom corners of racking

Welded Pallet Stop Beams installed at interior end of rails to prevent pallets from being pushed off back shelf rails, required

All rack components shall be protected with high quality, shop-applied, baked on powder coated finish. The following component colors apply.
