About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 17 is seeking to procure a Mobius 3D server upgrade for its Radiation Oncology department. The VA intends to solely negotiate with Varian Medical Systems Inc. as the Mobius server is the only product able to integrate with the VA's existing Varian Eclipse treatment planning system. The government is conducting market research and will consider capability statements, proposals, or quotations from responsible sources to determine if a solicitation will be issued. Responses are due by 8:00 AM Central Time on April 4, 2024 and should be sent to Contracting Specialist Mariangie Rios Vazquez.

Varian Medical Systems Inc. is the current incumbent and only authorized OEM provider for the required Mobius 3D server and software. The value of the potential contract is not specified, but the VA is seeking to upgrade its existing Mobius 3D server to the latest supported version.
