The device should also have the capability to deliver High Flow Oxygen (HFO) via nasal cannula interface.

The Noninvasive/Invasive Ventilator must be a microprocessor-controlled, ventilatory assist system that will provide continuous or intermittent positive pressure ventilatory support, either noninvasively or invasively, for Spontaneous breathing patients > 12.5kg with a tidal volume of 100ml or greater but need mechanical ventilation. The system must be capable of operating with single-limb passive BiPAP circuits, exhalation valve active circuits, and be capable of operating with or without a proximal flow sensor.

The Noninvasive/Invasive Ventilator system must be cleared by the FDA to operate with noninvasive masks, endotracheal tubes and tracheostomy tubes.
