The Canandaigua VA Medical Center (VAMC) will be posting a solicitation to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to perform work under project number 528-A5-17-526 titled Renovations to Building 6, First Floor (6A). The work will include, but not limited to: the removal of existing walls as required to support the desired layout, removal and replacement of ceilings, and flooring on the 1st floor of Bldg. 6, upgrades to the building utility distribution systems to ensure support of the call center, and other renovations necessary to support the use of the first floor by the Veteran s Crisis Line. The space will include both open spaces for future furniture installation, office spaces, and larger workrooms. There are men and women restrooms with multiple stalls on the floor. The space will include a PACS badge access system tied to employee PIV cards and security cameras. The work shall provide state of the art HVAC, electrical, lighting, water, sanitary, and other utilities as required to properly condition and serve the space and the function of the Veteran s Crisis Line. All work will be accomplished on the Canandaigua VAMC campus as indicated in the specifications and drawings. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. A 20% bid bond will be required and must be submitted with the bid. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
