Update #1 ·
Added: Aug 25, 2016 3:11 pm
Due to the Defense Contract Management Agency's (DCMA) intranet migration from HTML/CF to DCMA 360 (powered by SharePoint 2010) the following risks are introduced, 1) Customization of SharePoint introduces greater compliancy risk as Microsoft's VPAT pertains to OOTB solutions only, 2) Customers who customize the products should validate their customizations against the published Section 508/WCAG guidelines to ensure they still meet the mandated guidelines, 3) Some OOTB web parts and actions are inaccessible and not usable by people with disabilities (PWD0 potentially making it difficult to complete duties and responsibilities.
With the above stated DCMA proposes to procure a 508 Compliance Software solution. Please see the attached, Combined Synopsis/ Solicitation Notice for additional information. All questions must be submitted to Michael Toter via email at michael.toter@dcma.mil. All questions must be submitted by September 12, 2016 by 12:00 (noon). All questions submitted after this deadline will not be answered.
