Q&A Q1. Is there an explosion proof requirement for the entire cart or just the power connection plug?

A1 Yes, we required the explosion proof plug for safety and OSHA standards 3-wire, 4-pole .875 - 1.375 BHP6485D.

Q2. If so, what is the Class and Division of explosion proof requirement?

Q3. Is there a system schematic showing the connection interface from the pump to the connection points?

A4. No, but it needs to the right connection to hook up to army aircraft.

Q5. Is there a duty cycle requirement for this system? (we are assuming that there is no fluid cooling required but want to make sure) A5. There is no requirement for fluid cooling, but cart must be equipped with a device to prevent overheating.

Q6. Is there a filtration or fluid cleanliness level requirement for the hydraulic oil?

Q7. Are there any corrosion resistance requirements? (ie: stainless steel construction, epoxy paint, etc.)

Q8. Are there any specific military specifications that apply to the contract?

A8. Unit must meet all requirements to supply hydraulic power to all helicopters in Army aviation
