SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET
The following have been added by reference:
52.237-1 Site Visit APR 1984
The following have been added by full text:
SITE VISIT INFO
SITE VISIT INFO:
Date & Time:
08 July 2020 at 10:00 am (CEST)
Location of Site Visit:
Start: USAG Bavaria Grafenwoehr Gate 6 Tour: All sites requiring service throughout Tower Barracks and Rose Barracks End: USAG Bavaria Grafenwoehr Gate 6
As stated in FAR clause 52.237-1, vendors are urged and expected to inspect the site where performance will take place and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance. All questions and answers from the site visit shall be documented and provided via amendment after the site visit for the benefit of those who are unable to attend.
Each vendor is REQUIRED to make a reservation no later than 06JUL for the site visit with the Site Visit Point of Contact (POC) identified below. Failure to reserve a seat may result in being unable to attend if all seats with seatbelts are reserved.
Site Visit POC:
Mr. Harald Mueller Email: Harald.F.Mueller.LN@mail.mil
COM: +49 (0)9662-83-3093
Each vendor is allowed ONE individual to attend the site visit. The vendor shall provide the Name, Email, and Phone number of the person attending the site visit to the Site Visit POC identified above no later than 06 July 2020 in order to ensure sufficient seating and/or appropriate number of escorts/vehicles are available.
W912PB20Q3043
PLEASE NOTE: Any vendor wishing to attend that has personal base access is permitted to follow along by car in their privately owned vehicle if they do not wish to ride in the van.
The vendor shall have a Passport or German Identification (ID) with at least six (6) months of validity remaining (i.e. expiration date of 08JAN21 or later) in order to be granted installation access by security. The vendor will be signed-in before the site visit and then back-out again after the site visit by the Site Visit POC through Gate 6.
Please understand that the Site Visit POC will drive the vendors in a 9-seat passenger van. Each vendor representative must wear a face mask throughout the site visit to remain in compliance with USAG-Bavaria Social Distancing Policy since a distance of six feet cannot be observed in the van. Since anyone signed in by an escort must remain with the escort while on base, vendors are not permitted to drive separate vehicles due to the extended duration of, and multiple locations to be visited, during this site visit unless they have personal base access as previously stated.
Vendors are encouraged to arrive at USAG Bavaria Grafenwoehr Gate 6 early and wait until the escorts arrive. The Government escorts will begin signing visitors in at approximately 09:30 am (CEST) and stop signing-in at 10:00 am (CEST) at which time the Site Visit (tour) will begin. The number of vendors may impact how much time is required to ensure all visitors are signed-in. Thus, making a reservation and arriving early will certainly alleviate the process. After the Site Visit POC stops signing-in and leaves Gate 6 to begin the Site Visit, any vendors arriving after that takes place (10:00 am CEST) will not be able to participate.
