1 Performance Work Statement (PWS)
5.2 Accommodation Areas
It is unclear if the government is requesting a tented facility or a hard stand facility. If they are requesting only a hard stand option, would a containerized solution be acceptable? What is the minimum space per person that the USG requires for this area?
What are the minimum number of showers, sinks and toilets for this area?
Either a tent or hard stand would work / containerized solution is acceptable.
Minimum space per person is 6 square meters. Minimum number of showers is 10 / sinks are 5. We will need at least 10 toilets for the 150 pax in the hardstand / 10 toilets for the transient population.

Yes the contractor provides desks and chairs / Briefing room needs a chair for each person

No, only the space is a requirement / US Army will provide the fuel / fueler

150 L (used motor oil and hydraulic fluid)
6 PWS ‐ 5.9 Access to roof of building to put a satellite uplink...
Is this to be the roof of the Accommodation Area?
Will the government provide and install the device?
The Roof needs to be over the office space / US Army will set up and provide equipment

We do not understand what the USG requirement is here.
Please explain in more detail?
We will require space to park rental vans (x

8 PWS ‐ 5.12 Provide Gray Water tank Is this for the showers, kitchen, or both? Are there any connection requirements for the kitchen?
Kitchen only / yes there will have to be an opening on the tank that we can drain our waste water into.
9 PWS ‐ 5.13 Provide covered maintenance bay
What are the minimum size requirements?
50 square meters
10 PWS ‐ 5.14 Provide secure area for set up of mobile kitchen.
Does the USG only require a fenced in area, or are there other security requirements? Is the USG providing the mobile kitchen?
Yes, US Army is providing the field kitchen / a fenced in area is preferred, not a hard requirement as long as the facility is secure (controlled access and night lighting)
11 General Question It is not mentioned that the USG shall provide ground/space for tents. Is Contractor responsible for renting all or any spaces?
As we understand, all services must be carried out inside the customs area of the port.
Yes, contractor needs to rent / own the space at the port
12 ELIN A0001,(page4) & PWS 5.2 Sleeping tents with flooring, ECU and lighting are required.

Yes, that is acceptable
14 If accepted, will connections be provided for hot and cold water supply, The contractor is responsible for this, we will have no organic capability for this.
water removal and electricity?
Or is the Contractor responsible for renting these services from the Port Terminal?
