QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT THE DILLARD DRY-DOCK SOLICITATION
Q: -Will there be a walk-through of the vessel before bids are due? We are hoping to see the boat to get a better understanding of the bow chock work and the swim grid bulwark changes.
A: Yes – Information posted as Amendment 3 Site Visit Info
Q: And you provided approximate square footage for the top-side paint work - do you have a square footage for the underwater / Intersleek coverage?
A: Top-side paint square footage is listed in the scope
Q: Are there lifting lugs on the vessel? Or would lifting the boat cradled by slings be acceptable as opposed to flooding our dry dock?
A: No, the lifting lugs are not rated. Unless the contractor gets permission to use them in coordination with the vessel manufacturer, Kvichak.
Q: And if there is even a list of sacrificial anodes that are to be replaced if the Cathodic Protection drawing can’t be produced, that would be a big help.
A: The drawing package is available. See attachments
