NOTE: Please keep in mind this is a Statement of Objectives, NOT a Statement of Work. The main goal is to allow the vendor to decide the most efficient cost effective solution to meeting the Joint Operation Centers’ final objective.
Question 1) Do you require all the Video switching and routing hardware and cables to be 4K capable, 3840x2160 resolution?
Answer 1) No.
Question 2) How many video outputs (streams) are required from the computer(s) as inputs to the video wall system?
Answer 2) One per available TV screen – so 17 possible streams to be displayed on the TV Wall. There could be a 18th with the Interactive Touch Screen.
Question 3) I could not find any Teleconference devices on the approved equipment list. What can be done to find what equipment is acceptable?
Answer 3) There is no approved equipment list. We currently have a cisco unified communication management system, any teleconference equipment will need to be compatible with this current phone system.

Question 7) Are any recorders, audio or video, required in the system?
Answer 7) No.
Question 8) how soon do you anticipate when options are to be exercised?
Answer 8) Based on available funding at time of award a determination will be made to whether what options will be exercised. Reference clause 52.217-9 regarding extended service (The solicitation will be amended to include warranty/support in CLIN 0001 and extend delivery date out to 1-year. Installation will still be required to be performed 30 days after date of award.)

Question 18) Are speakers to be replaced?
Answer 18) Not at this time we believe they are operable with the appropriate equipment.
Question 19) Do you want to have all the wiring/HDMI cables replaced?
Answer 19) This will be determined by the vendor expertise if there is any benefit in replacing the cables due to cable length and connects. Vendors have the option to provide multiple bids with varying solutions (see FAR Clause 52.212-1(e)). A separate option CLIN will be added to the solicitation.
