Q1. Frame HM‐6 is shown on sheet 3A3.1 as having glass type G2 & G3.

Response: Incorrect, HM‐6 is shown on sheet 3A3.1 as having glass type G2 & G6

G2 is 1/4" Clear Tempered. G3 is 1/4" Clear Tempered Laminated.

Response: Correct

I only see two of those frames, right next to each other in room CP Console 1126.

Response: Correct

I’m not sure why each opening would have different glass.

Response: The openings have the same glass.

Q2. Glazing specs, paragraph 2.9, B, 2, specifies a “Sun Control” film. And then lists what windows are to receive that film. We’re all good until it says east wall of rom 1126. Why do you need a Sun

Control film at the interior locations? Just making sure that isn’t a typo.

Response: This is not a typo. The film is reflective and is being used in this location to create one way mirrored glass.

Q3. Door 1145.1 is listed on the door schedule with a type B door but no glass type is listed.

Response: Glass to be G2‐ Tempered Glass

Door D1.2 is listed on the door schedule with a type B door, glass type G3 (1/4” Laminated), rated “60M” and noted as “Blast Rated” in the Comments column.

Response: Change Glass to type G5‐ Fire Rated Tempered Glass

Door D2.1 is listed same as D1.2, but without the “Blast Rated” comment.

Response: Correct, door D2.1 is not “Blast Rated” Change Glass to type G5‐ Fire Rated

Tempered Glass

The “Glass Legend” lists glass type G5 (fire‐rated) and glass type G6 (one‐way mirror film) but glass specifications list only types G1, G2, G3, G4.

Response: Glass type G5: Refer to Glazing spec section 08800‐ paragraph 2.5; Glass type G6:

Refer to Glazing spec section 08800‐ paragraph 2.9B
