Questions & Answers for Project No:

PJVY 142068

Demo VOQ B115 24 June 2016 Questions:

1. Could you please provide the asbestos survey, and any quantities of any Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) so that we may include any abatement cost in our quote?

a. Yes

2. Should 6" of topsoil be spread on the ENTIRE site, or just the disturbed area?

a. ANY disturbed area needs to be top soiled. Not the entire site.

3. Can the brick and block remain?

a. No, must remove and dispose of off site

4. Is there a grading plan that can be furnished?

a. No, grade site to drain and match existing grade.

5. What are the fill specs? Compaction?

a. Backfill with soil that matches the existing site composition and contains no organic material. There are no compaction requirements.

6. What happens if additional hazardous materials other than asbestos are identified?

a. Contractor is to identify and provide notice to government. Contractor shall proceed with demo of item upon approval from KO. Item shall be demolished at no additional cost to government.

7. Who do the environmental aspects of the project fall on?

a. All building material shall be disposed of off base in accordance with local and federal rules and regulations.

8. What does the finished site look like?

a. It should look like there wasn’t a building there. Should be graded to drain and match existing area.
