Q&A 31 July 2019
1. For the video wall you do not mention the size of the panels ‐ typically 46” or 55”.
The panel size is 55”.
2. What are the existing audio outputs?
The only existing audio output is a soundbar that connects via HDMI.
3. What are the sources to feed video?
Sources include DirecTV, two PCs, DVD player, BluRayPlayer, and two camera systems. The system controller requires eight HDMI inputs to accommodate these items. If adaptors are later required, the government will provide them.
4. What is the size of the available area to install the video wall?
13’ Width x 5’ Height
5. Will the contractor be responsible for extending/connecting the camera control joystick?
No
6. Is there any desire for a laptop HDMI connection at the command post workstation?
Please refer to Purchase Description. A system capable of supporting Eight (8) HDMI inputs is required.
7. Is the existing sound bar to be replaced or reused? If reused, is it to be relocated somewhere?
Where?
The existing sound bar will be reused. The sound bar is to be relocated behind the console near the touch panel control.
8. What is the desired size of the touch panel?
A touch panel of at least 7” is needed.
9. Is the IPTV tuner provided by the owner or the contractor? Where will it physically reside?
No IPTV tuner is required for this project.
10. Is the Bluray player provided by the owner or the contractor? Where will it physically reside?
Bluray player is provided by the owner. It will reside in the data closet with the rest of equipment associated with this project.
11. Where will the owner furnished PC’s physically reside?
Both of the PCs that will be connected are located behind the console on the floor.
