3010 MCHD Amendment
1. Extend Sources Sought Notice from 18MAY20 to 1JUN20
2. From the last fifteen years (15) ten years (10), please list all similar sized ocean-going Trailing Suction Hopper (TSH) dredge vessels the Offeror’s organization has designed and constructed in the United States. For each vessel listed, provide the total cost of the vessel (design, engineering, construction, testing, and delivery).
3. Question: Can USACE provide projected timeframe for draft RFP and RFP release date?
This will aid in us providing an accurate bonding response.
o Response: As stated in sources sought notice “At this time, it is anticipated that a solicitation for the MCHD will be released on or around December 2020 via the Contract Opportunities website, beta.SAM.gov.”
4. Question: Can the paper include 11 by 17 size page for facility layouts?
o Response: Submitted drawings and or layouts can be placed on 11” X 17” sized paper.
5. Question: Does page count include appendices and abbreviation page?
o Response: Total page count cannot exceed 30 pages. This page count excludes the sample specification, appendices, and abbreviation page that can also accompany the formal response.
6. If available, please provide an example of a specification that was provided in response to a previous hopper dredge requirement similar to this. The example should be a representation, by either drawings or verbal descriptions or both, of what the vessel should look like upon completion. Moreover, the example specification should describe the characteristics of the new vessel, define rules to be complied with and procedures to be followed during all stages of designing and constructing the vessel.
