Questions & Answers Yellow Ribbon – Phoenix, AZ (27 MAR – 1 APR)

1. Q: Could you please tell me if this is a new requirement, or if there is a current or previous contractor who has performed similar services? If available, can you please send along the incumbent contract or task order number?

A: This is a new requirement. Similar requirements can be viewed at the following contract numbers:

· W91247-19-P-0015

· W91247-19-P-0048

2. Q: Meals can be served to be served in General Session- there is one part that states that they can be and another that states they should not be.

A: Meals are consumed in the same space as we hold the general session. The buffet should be outside or at the back of the general session space.

3. Q: For the 6-8 breakouts- can these be set in theater?

A: Theater is fine.

4. Q: For lodging- are you estimating 200 lodging rooms for Friday and Saturday for attendees and then the additional 105 room nights for core staff and advanced staff?

A: 200 rooms are estimated for Friday and 200 rooms are estimated for Saturday for Soldiers and their families. Staff are separate.

5. Q: Can you identify what the 8 breakout rooms are for? I’m reviewing the SOW, and this is my count:

· Headquarters Room (1)

· MFLC, JAG, DEERs/Rapids (4)

· Exhibitor/Vendor Room (1)

· Logistics Storage (1)

A: The rooms listed above are in addition to the 6-8 breakout rooms. The 6-8 breakout rooms should be theater style

6. Q: Do you require child care rooms? If yes, how many and for how many children per room?

A: No childcare

7. Q: Can you please provide an estimate of rooms we should obtain for the attendees?

A: We have 300 attendees registered for this event, but you also have to remember we have staff that need rooms. So I estimate 320 rooms on Friday night.
