SOLICITATION INFORMATION

For example, why won’t the government answer our questions here today, it would be so much simpler. Because provision FAR 52.214‐6 Explanation to Prospective Bidders –which is part of the solicitation says:

Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing soon enough to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before the submission of their bids. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. Any information given a prospective bidder concerning a solicitation will be furnished promptly to all other prospective bidders as an amendment to the solicitation, if that information is necessary in submitting bids or if the lack of it would be prejudicial to other prospective bidders.

Many questions you may have can be answered if you go online and read the provisions and clauses that are either required and or we have determined necessary for the successful completion of this contract.

I do not answer questions whose answers are in the solicitation, the specifications or drawings. I may direct you to the paragraph where the answer is. Otherwise, if you do have a question or need clarification, email the question ON OR BEFORE Monday, 18 September 2017 by
