SURVEILLANCE PLAN

CNC Brake Press

The objective of this plan is to monitor contract performance as outlined in this contract. This plan will also serve as a method for describing and documenting nonperformance and for recommending action to the Contracting Officer.

Contract inspections will begin with the arrival of the CNC Brake Press at Anniston Army Depot. The CNC Brake Press will be inspected thoroughly by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for installation, commissioning, and training by the contractor.

1. Contract requirements to be surveyed:

a. Salient features required in paragraphs 3.1-3.1.17 will be inspected upon arrival at Anniston Army Depot by the COR.

b. Final on-site installation, commissioning, and training shall be performed by the contractor per paragraphs 5.1 and 5.2, (Delivery) and (Installation).

c. Fundamental training shall be for a minimum of five (5) calendar days.

d. Final installation, commissioning, and training by the contractor are required to initiate the warranty required by paragraph 3.7.3

2. The COR will notify the Contracting Officer of any incentive for good or satisfactory performance. Incentive could be good references for past performance.

The COR will also notify the Contracting Officer if any of the above are deficient in performance of the contract. The Contracting Officer will take appropriate action in the event of deficiency. This does not relieve the contractor of their responsibility to perform surveillance checks and to meet contract requirements at all times during contract performance period.
