Questions and Responses Solicitation: W564KV-17-T-0061 Title: Packaging for Model 81-12 Calib Beam
Question 1 Regards material handling at all sites in Germany. Will the US Army be able to provide a 15,000 lb capacity fork lift at all sites for handling the Type B (U) transport package?
REPLY: The Army will provide the fork lift for all locations.
Question 2. Is there a website for the iWATCH/iSSALUTE local training and OPSEC training? No sites were listed. Could you please provide additional information on how we are to be compliant? In lieu of taking this training, is a USNRC designed Manufacturer and Distribution Licensee with a NRC and State of CA (with the adoption of NRC Part 37) inspected security training program for both transportation and on-site client activities. Would a successful inspection results with training verification be an acceptable substitute?
REPLY: I reached out for information about the training and still working on a solution for the contractors to take the class while in the US. As a fall back option, they can take the training in my office prior to performing the task. Unfortunately, the other qualifications can be substituted for the training.
