SUMMARY OF CHANGES

(End of Summary of Changes)

Question # Category Question Government Response

1 Staging What area of the property can be utilized as staging areas? We can determine that based on work areas. The government will provide staging area, but cannot determine exact locations at this time.

2 Fill Material Can we use flowable fill? Yes

3 Outfalls From the site visit, can we conclude that the outfalls shown as proposed were never built?

No. The proposed outfalls 001 and 002 will be new and are not the same as the existing outfalls 001 and 002. Outfall 10F will also be new and not the same as the exisiting outfall 10F. All other outfalls are existing but have updates rebuild or provide erosion control.

4 Outfalls Are we able to bypass Outfall 007 and tie into Outfall 008?

After discussing this with the A-E design firm, we cannot deviate from the design since the environmental permit is based on the design. It took 1 year to get the environmental permit approved and we do not have time to get the environmental permit adjusted. The additional flow from outfall 007 to outfall 008 has not been accounted for in its affects to the wet lands or any new dissipation requirements for outfall 008.

5 Outfalls Are we building out the Apron on Outfall 10 and what is the Apron foundation to be?

Per drawings C2.05 - contractor is providing foundation protection and concrete apron. Match concrete apron to existing invert elevation. The contractor shall pour concrete directly below the outfall to fill the scour hole as part of the concrete apron (monolithic) as depicted on the detail.

6 Outfalls Are we to change or alter the stream bed at Outfall 10?

The contractor shall only update outfall 10 as specified in the drawings, specifications and environmental permits. Permit GP-11 states, "The rehabilitations include the following...Updates to outfall #10 which includes concrete end wall apron installation in front of the downstream headwall (outfall), andwill also require installation of concrete jacks to aid in outlet protection and energy dissipation of the water. As part of the work the culvert will also have debris removed from the entrance on the upstream side; however it will not be altered or modified in any way."

7 Demolition Can we reduce the demolition scope to cutting off pipe where it daylights at the ravine and capping the remaining pipe? If this is referring to Outfall 10F, yes.

8 Staffing QCM/SSHO/CS—can that be filled by one staff member meeting quals? Yes
