1. Q: Are you looking to replace the exterior bifold door and interior swing door with two sliding doors? If so, is the Stanley Durafit six panel acceptable?
A: NO; the doors (one at each opening) must hinge
2. Q: If not what style door are you looking for in each opening?
A: A single large automatic swing door for each opening which must be on hinges.
This is being done to allow for minimal maintenance and the ability to open by hand if the auto button begins to fail. The sidelights are just the glass on the side of the door to fill the gap.
3. Q: Replace with same – Bifold exterior and swing doors interior?
A: NO; See above
4. Q: Replace both with new center hung Swing Doors?
A: NO; See above
5. Q: Is an equivalent manufacturer to Tormax acceptable? (i.e. DormaKaba)
A: Yes “equal” products are acceptable; DormaKaba is acceptable
