Questions and Answers

1. What is the exact location that the GKR-2011 is being installed and where they would like it to be monitored or viewed?

The drawings are available to be email directly to interested vendors. The install will be in the commercial lane (north lane) and monitored in the guardhouse. The exact location will be left up to you as the technical expert.

2. How many LPR's for the system? Front and Rear plate or just Rear plate only?

The request is for a single LPR and since all states are required to have a rear plate, that would be the minimum requirement.

3. What is the availability of power and drainage for the GKR-2011? This unit is installed in a pit in the middle of the road and will need to have either a drain that daylights or ties into a storm drain.

The drawings are available to be email directly to interested vendors.

4. What is the time line to have quotes and all questions submitted?

Per the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation on Contract Opportunities- Quotes are due NLT 1:00 p.m. CST, 31 August 2021. No deadline was given for questions.

5. When are they looking to have the system installed? Approximately. Just curious if this will most likely be a winter or summer project.

System install should be the first available date, if winter conditions prevents install then spring.
