1. To confirm, there are 65 letter/number sets needed and each letter set is 5 characters? (the

SOW references a facility listing - but was not attached - do you have that) The info need to bid this is provided in the SOW. 65 building. All signs have only numbers which are four characters.

For example, 2040 or 1070. No letters.

2. What are the heights of the buildings for which we are installing the letters? - are all the buildings the same heights - if multiple heights - please indicate. No. There are different heights.

This varies and must be verified in field (VIF). At minimum 9 feet above finish floor (9’ AFF).

But the average is twelve feet. The range is between 9’ to 15’.

3. Can the area where the letters are to be installed be reachable by having a bucket truck on a paved surface or will we need to drive the vehicle off the paved road and onto the grass, etc? (How far away are the buildings from the road?) Each building has its own location of where the sign will need to be placed and it would be safe to say a bucket truck could not reach all of the desired locations, but most.

4. SOW request signs match the front entrance name signs - color, texture, and detail - can you provide a picture of one of these so signs so that I can see what I'm trying to match? All of that is provided in the SOW

5. Will a lift fit in the space needed, will a ladder be needed in some locations? The government does not provide means and method answers. Vendor will need to provide all equipment that is required to complete the project.

6. How far apart are the buildings? Verify on google maps. See attached “11X17 Base Map

Layout.” Contractor to verify in field each facility.

7. Do you need a mounting pattern? Do not understand the question. Please refer to SOW. A picture is provided. All signs will match the example provided.

8. Is there any removal of existing signage? No.

9. Is there any requirement for Lift Certification? Vendors are required to have proper training and certifications per any federal, state or local codes to operate the lift. This documentation must be available upon request prior to use of lift.

10. Are all locations the same flat brick? No. Most locations have fluted 8” CMU. There are approximately five facilities with flat brick façade. Contractor to verify in field each facility.

11. Are you wanting an anodized aluminum blank with etched and paint-filled letters/numbers?

Please refer to SOW. A picture is provided. All signs will match the example provided.

12. Are you wanting an anodized aluminum blank with white, die cut vinyl applied letters and numbers? Please refer to SOW. A picture is provided. All signs will match the example provided.

13. Are you wanting a two-step anodized aluminum sign (etched letters and numbers that are anodized silver)? Please refer to SOW. A picture is provided. All signs will match the example provided.

14. I am not seeing the thickness of the aluminum signs on the spec sheet. I may have overlooked it, but is there a specific thickness you would like? A sign is 1 inch thick and the letters are ½ inch thick.
