Vendor Questions
Q1: what is considered mobile for this RFQ? Is there a size, weight, set up time requirement that must be met to be considered a mobile solution?
A1: Size: Must meet the minimum width of standard commercial vehicle/tractor trailer.
Weight: Must be movable by 4 person carry, forklift or less.
Set up Time: Through market research, a mobile unit that we found could be set up in as little as 30 minutes with the proper training.
Q2: As these units require installation by a certified technician I wanted to confirm that installation/training is requested with these units?
A2: Yes, we request initial installation and training.
Q3: I wanted to confirm that the site will have any conduit desired in place (although not required, but recommended) as well as be able to provide power to the Gatekeeper junction box?
A3: Cable required between the scanner and computer.
Power supply can be provided by power cords when outlets are available, and generator in remote areas where a power source is not available.
