Q1. Are you able to post the sign-in sheets from the two site visits to beta.SAM?
A1. Site Visit Attendees are as follows:
LoCurrent Systems, LLC, Bryan LoRusso
Cromedy Construction, Joe Repici
Global Access Contract Systems, Bill Reddy
Q2: As per 11.3.2., Contractor shall install laptop for enrollment in IT Room with Galaxy Enterprise Software and Veridt Biometric Visitor Badging Solution.
Will contractor be required to be Certified in the Veridt Biometric Visitor Badging Solution?
A2. Yes, contractor must be certified in Veridt full line solutions including visitor badging solution.
Q3. As per 11.3.1., Contractor to supply and install head end equipment in IT Room.
Head end equipment to include: racks, servers, (1) Galaxy Control Systems 4 Door Controller Unit, Enterprise Edition Software, power supplies, DVR, UPS battery back-up, IT based intercom system, monitors and all other necessary electronic apparatus for a turnkey, ESS Solution.
Recent Projects similar in nature have required the use of a Trained, Authorized, Certified Dealers of both Galaxy and Veridt in good standing for a minimum of 3 years when working on a Department of Defense CAC Security System with Proof of Certifications to be provided at the time of Bid. In addition, recent Projects have required the contractor to provide proof of a minimum of 5 years of successfully completing projects of similar nature and design in the field of Biometric CAC Card Access Control Will any of these requirements be applicable for this Project?
A3. Yes these certifications are required at the time of bid.
Q4: Will the Government be providing personnel for proper testing of the CAC System or will the Government require the Contractor to maintain personnel on-site for proper testing that currently hold valid CAC Credentials?
A4. Government will not be providing personnel for proper testing. Contractor must have personnel for proper programing, configuration and testing for proper operation in their employ.
Q5: In previous 99th RSC Projects requirements by the Department of Defense were to provide proof of a minimum of 5 years of successfully completed Projects of similar nature and design within DoD Facilities at the time of Bid. Will this be a requirement for this Solicitation?
A5. No, this is not required.
Q6: In regards to IT-Based Intercom (As per Section 11.3.6, 11.3.7, 11.3.8 and 11.3.9), USARC directives require the use of IX Series AiPhone Equipment. Would the Government like to replace the existing verbiage of IS equipment to IX equipment to accommodate the Door Stations and Master Stations called for in the Project?
A6. Yes update to IX series is required to meet USARC standards.
Q7: As per “11.3.10. Contractor shall supply and install (1) 16 channel DVR at head end equipment rack.”
Will CCTV Equipment need to be compliant to Cyber Security Memorandum Under Secretary of Defense dated October 24 2018?
A7. Yes, CCTV equipment must be in compliance with Secretary of Defense Cyber Security memo.
